IEEMA Meter Division represents the entire metering fraternity and undertakes various activities, major ones being dissemination of Information of production statistics and government policy changes, representing the Industry views to the Government, price variation clauses covering a wide range of products and evolving Industry Standards.

Policy Help/Support

IEEMA Meter Division initiates help, guidance to its Members to resolve any issues pertaining to Government Departments at Central, State level and regulatory bodies. Regular dialogue and interaction with the Government authorities and its various departments, Co-ordination and Cordial, healthy relationship with the Ministry of Power, Ministry of Commerce and industries is always benefited to all the members. IEEMA is actively engaged in Ministry of Power’s initiatives such as RAPDRP AND DRUM. It also supports to Bureau of Energy Efficiency for Standards & Labeling Programme on Energy Efficient Products, interface with Standards and Testing Institutions etc.

Technical Solution

IEEMA Meter Division is regular in touch with Government bodies, public sector and also involved / called for various policy making forums looking into the same IEEMA Meter Division has formed Technical Committee under Meter Division which is involved in providing all the technical inputs to the meter division so that in the fast changing metering solutions each aspects shall be looked in keeping metering industry into consideration.
