Only IEEMA Meter Division members may become member of IMDTC. The interested meter manufacturer organizations who agree to participate in furthering the aims of the IEEMA Meter Division by giving their valuable inputs / support / efforts to implement new technology are encouraged to join the committee.

MEMBERSHIP Categories

There are two categories of membership as detailed below:

Member – Group A

This membership class is available for those who wish to participate fully in the committee and contribute their inputs & requirements to enhance the adaptability & acceptability of UMRCF standard.

These members will be part of technical committee in formulating / modifying / enhancing the UMRCF standards and will have access to all the documents involved into it. The group will also have full rights in technical discussion and be part of Group B in discussions on HHU, Smart Grid, Smart Meter, AMI, etc.

Member – Group B

This membership class is open to any other member who is part of Meter Division and not involved in API related interoperability. These members can contribute their valuable inputs in getting the specification developed for other than the API related interoperability such as HHU, Smart Grid, Smart Meter, AMI, etc.

Application for membership

Application should be made using the ‘Application for Membership’ form, available on the website or from the IEEMA Secretariat office.

Fee structure

Both the Group Members have to pay following fees:

Membership Joining fees:  Rs. 100,000/- (Rupees One Lacs Only)

Annual membership renewal fees:  Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only), this has to be paid latest by 30th June every financial year.
