| 1. The IMDTC is under IEEMA to promote and administer the UMRCF interoperable standard for reading meters of different makes and to develop & propose common specifications for meters and meter’s related accessories. IMDTC - in its present form as well as to developments thereof 2. The applicant for membership (herein referred to as "the member") acknowledges that he/she has read and understood the Obligations mentioned in the IMDTC Membership Charter. The member agrees that the Obligation and rules & regulations will take precedence over this agreement in the event of any conflict. 3. The member undertakes to comply with the provisions of the rules and regulations made by IMDTC in accordance with the IMDTC Membership Charter and this agreement. 4. The membership of the IMDTC is divided into two categories Member Group-A and Member Group-B; as per the membership category & rules mentioned in IMDTC Membership Charter Member – Group A: This membership class is available for those who wish to participate fully in the committee and contribute their inputs & requirements to enhance the adaptability & acceptability of UMRCF standard. These members will be part of technical committee in formulating / modifying / enhancing the UMRCF standards and will have access to all the documents involved into it. The group will also have full rights in technical discussion and be part of Group B in discussions on HHU, Smart Grid, Smart Meter, AMI, etc.
Member – Group B: This membership class is open to any other member who is part of Meter Division and not involved in API related interoperability. These members can contribute their valuable inputs in getting the specification developed for other than the API related interoperability such as HHU, Smart Grid, Smart Meter, AMI, etc. 5. Any individual or party (ies) or corporate can join the IMDTC in the relevant Member category by paying the joining fees and undertaking to pay the renewal fees as mentioned in the Membership Charter or as determine by IMDTC time-to-time or as revised from time to time. 6. Other persons / Organization may be permitted; as and when approved by IEEMA Meter Division. 7. Members of the IMDTC will have rights of use and access as defined for relevant Membership category in the IMDTC Membership Charter. Future developments to the IMDTC may be subject to special usage or access requirements, including the payment of usage or access fees additional to any annual subscriptions. 8. Management and control of IMDTC will be with IEEMA Meter Division. 9. The IMDTC will render services to users, including members. Certain of these services will be free of charge and others may be charged. The committee will facilitate the provision of services to users by members. Members will not be entitled to be paid for any contributions to the committee or the activities of the committee unless the IMDTC agrees thereto in writing. |
